Attorney Teresa Gibson has over 26 years of experience assisting clients with criminal defense matters, spanning from traffic matters to First Degree Murder cases. Her experience includes over 20 criminal jury trials. We proudly serve Brunswick, Columbus, and Bladen Counties.

Teresa Gibson earned her B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee and the University of South Florida. Later, Teresa studied law at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and received her Juris Doctorate there in 1993, passing the N.C. Bar in 1994. She had a solo practice for 16 years in the 9th Judicial District serving Granville, Vance and Franklin counties.
In 2011, she brought her legal experience to Brunswick County and opened an office in Shallotte, North Carolina, practicing in the 13th judicial district.
She relocated her office to be closer to the Brunswick County Courthouse and Brunswick County Jail in Bolivia, NC in 2019.
